Antelop Island

Antelope Island

I had some free time and wanted to get away for a few hours. I googled ‘Best Places to Bird in Utah” and Antelope Island State Park was #1 from one source. Deb and I packed some drinks and my camera gear and headed for the island. Some of the wildlife we saw included, Willet, American Avocet, Burrowing Owl, Black-Billed Magpie, Horned Lark, California Gull, Western Meadowlark, Long-Billed Curlew, Killdeer, Red-Winged Blackbird, American Bison, Pronghorn Antelope. I’m just starting to get familiar with the island’s inhabitants so I will be going back soon.
